Richland County Post 6 Foundation

This Trust is organized pursuant to Section 501 (c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and shall be operated exclusively for the sole purpose of receiving, holding and investing assets and property received for the Settlor, and such other individual or entities who may contribute assets and property, and distributing the income there from only to Richland County Post No. 6, The American Legion, DEPARTMENT OF SOUTH CAROLINA (hereinafter referred to as the “Beneficiary”) in accordance with the terms of this Trust to be used by the Beneficiary solely for the tax-exempt purposes set forth in the Beneficiary’s Charter and By-Laws and in Treasury Regulation Section 1.501(c)(19)-1(c). The name of this Trust shall be the RICHLAND COUNTY POST NO. 6 FOUNDATION, and so far as practicable the Trustee shall conduct the activities of the Trust in that name.
